A peek into my happiness...

This is at our wedding. The happiest day of my life.
This is Mickey Mouse when he was a baby. He is our first child.

This is a view of the farm, with Mickey running in the background. So beautiful.
This is Missy, our Amish puppy. She is insane. There are no words to describe this dog.
But we love her anyways.
Here is Kenny walking on the farm in front of me, Keep in mind he is 6'6 and i am 5'0.
Here is Mickey all grown up. Ever since I flew him out here to be with me and Kenny, he lived with my mom prior, Kenny has taken priority in Mickeys life, I am now on the back burner. lol.

A little more about me...

Growing up my family was Military so we had a couple of big moves here and there. A year after graduation, feeling like my only option was to get away so i moved across the country, pretty spur of the moment. I knew people that lived there from when we where stationed there years ago. Moved in with them… and through that i met my husband. We fell in love, married a year after we met and have had such a blessed life since. We are expecting our first child, a baby girl we decided to name Serenity. We live on my husbands beautiful farm with lots of cows and bugs and are sooo excited to be parents!

I mostly wanted to try this blogging adventure because it seems like something that i can just make like a fun public journal.

I am enjoying married life so much , i feel like im a small fish swimming against a big current of the public’s view of marriage. Everyone is all about preparing for in case a divorce happens situation and i just refuse to think like that, not my style ;) God has brought me through all types of weather and brought two completely different types of people from different sides of the country together to start a life together. He has a plan for our lives, we can choose to live life however we want, but once we accept Him into our hearts, he opens a whole new door for us, but He has given us the opportunity to choose whether we want to walk through that door or not. It's not always easy making the right decisions.

I grew up going to church every sunday since i was two, but that changed once i went to highschool. But now that I am married and settled down and i look back, im glad for the choices i made in the past because it brought me to where i am today and thats right back in Gods arms and married to the man of my dreams with a little princess on the way. I named my blog Blessings in Disguise because growing up I have had a lot of hardships but through that, they were all blessings, i just didn't know. And you don't ever know where the big man upstairs will take you next..
